Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soya chunks
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1/4 tablespoon garam masala
- 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 tablespoon coriander powder
- 3 tablespoons rice powder
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida)
- 1/2 tablespoons cornflour
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Curry leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 2 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
- Cut the soya chunks into smaller pieces. I have used smaller soya chunks instead.
- Add all ingredients except oil and mix well .
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. (Be careful and take the help of an adult here)
- Fry the coated soya chunks until they turn golden brown and crispy. (Be careful and take the help of an adult here)
- Drain the fried soya chunks on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot.
