Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soya chunks
  • 1/2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 3 tablespoons rice powder
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 tablespoons cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Curry leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 2 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
  • Cut the soya chunks into smaller pieces. I have used smaller soya chunks instead.
  • Add all ingredients except oil and mix well .
  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. (Be careful and take the help of an adult here)
  •  Fry the coated soya chunks until they turn golden brown and crispy. (Be careful and take the help of an adult here)
  • Drain the fried soya chunks on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot.
